Come join us for our annual fundraiser this Saturday, April 30th,
in the Display Building at the Taylor County Expo Center. This year's theme is Tip Your Hat to Buffalo Gap. The doors will open 6:00 PM to midnight and the entertainment will begin
shortly thereafter. Back again to headline the event is Red Steagall
and the Bunkhouse Boys, arguable the best western and swing band in the
state. Justin Berry will open the evening and Lawless Flatz will
close it out so be ready for a good time scootin' a boot around the dance
floor. Our first ever Texas Hold'em tournament will begin at 6:30.
We have a limited number of slots for the tournament so call 793-4698 to
register for it. Besides the Hold'em we will also have several blackjack
tables going. There will also be a cash bar and a silent auction featuring some
great items like up to $260 worth of tire care services from Discount Tire
and a Harley Davidson jacket donated by Kent's Harley Davidson.
Ticket prices are $30 for general admission and $20 for students, military,
and our members. You can even purchase your membership
at the event beginning at only $30 for a family membership. Your membership
not only gets you into Buffalo Gap Historic Village free for one calendar
year, but you also receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the store,
invitations to member-only events, and free admission to the Abilene Zoo
for one year!
