In honor of the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition, Buffalo Gap Historic Village is proud to present an Evening with Meriwether Lewis on September 25th and 26th.  Come enjoy dinner of buffalo stew cooked from the Corps of Discovery’s own recipes while Meriwether Lewis talks about his adventures and the lessons he and his team learned on their trip.  Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM at Buffalo Gap Historic Village.  Tickets are $40 for this very special event and can be purchased by calling 325-572-3365.


Historian and professional speaker Richard Cheatham, who is listed in Who’s Who in Professional Speaking, has been inspiring, delighting, and educating audiences all over the country with his memorable impersonations of Captain Meriwether Lewis, personal secretary to President Thomas Jefferson and explorer extraordinaire.
