Are you paranoid about the paranormal? Should you be? In keeping with the Ghost Tours taking place this and next weekend at the Village, this month's Chautauqua lecture features Jamie Chesterson, the founder and director of the Texas Paranormal Society. The society was founded to help people with their questions and concerns about the paranormal. Mr. Chesterson will not only talk about the paranormal; he will also demonstrate equipment used to investigate paranormal phenomena. Be with us on Saturday, and prepare to be spooked!
Our Chautauqua Learning Series is based on the Chautauqua movement which spread throughout the rural United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It provided educational lectures and entertainment for average Americans before the advent of mass media like radio and television. The Texas Frontier Heritage and Cultural Center™ is proud to continue the spirit of that tradition in the unique setting of the Buffalo Gap Historic Village.
