Buffalo Gap Historic Village is not just a unique collection of historic buildings, populated by day by history interpreters and tour guides. It is also home to all sorts of non-human denizens who, a century ago, were part of the West Texas frontier. The Village population includes several cats, two goats, chickens, guinea fowl, a pony, and all sorts of plants both under cultivation in our garden and growing wild throughout the grounds.
